US Military Directs 21 Shipwrecks in Iran – CENTCOM
HAMILTON (Canada) April 18 (Bernama-Anadolu) — The United States (US) military has ordered 21 ships to withdraw since a naval blockade began on Iranian ports, the US Central Command (CENTCOM) said on Friday, Anadolu Agency reported.
“The guided missile destroyer USS Michael Murphy (DDG 112) was patrolling the Arabian Sea, April 17, when the US military imposed a naval blockade on ships attempting to enter or exit Iranian ports,” CENTCOM said in a note on X.
According to CENTCOM “since the start of the blockade, 21 ships have obeyed US military orders to turn around and return to Iran.”
Shipping of goods through the Strait of Hormuz has been severely disrupted since the US-Israel war against Iran began on February 28 and the US naval blockade was announced on April 13.
About 20 percent of global oil supplies pass through the strait every day and rising insecurity has raised oil prices as well as shipping and insurance costs.
Iran on Friday said the Strait of Hormuz was now fully open to commercial vessels, in line with a 10-day ceasefire in Lebanon that went into effect at midnight Thursday, but via designated routes.
US President Donald Trump said naval sanctions would “remain in full effect” until “our negotiations with Iran are 100 percent complete,” meaning when a peace agreement is signed.

A Private Blog Network (PBN) is a collection of websites that are controlled by a single individual or organization and used primarily to build backlinks to a “money site” in order to influence its ranking in search engines such as Google. The core idea behind a PBN is based on the importance of backlinks in Google’s ranking algorithm. Since Google views backlinks as signals of authority and trust, some website owners attempt to artificially create these signals through a controlled network of sites.
In a typical PBN setup, the owner acquires expired or aged domains that already have existing authority, backlinks, and history. These domains are rebuilt with new content and hosted separately, often using different IP addresses, hosting providers, themes, and ownership details to make them appear unrelated. Within the content published on these sites, links are strategically placed that point to the main website the owner wants to rank higher. By doing this, the owner attempts to pass link equity (also known as “link juice”) from the PBN sites to the target website.
The purpose of a PBN is to give the impression that the target website is naturally earning links from multiple independent sources. If done effectively, this can temporarily improve keyword rankings, increase organic visibility, and drive more traffic from search results.
