KPM Guarantees SJKT, SJKC Will Not Be Closed Under MADANI Government
GEORGE TOWN, 15 June (Bernama) – The Ministry of Education and Culture (KPM) provides an assurance that no Chinese type national schools (SJKC) or Tamil type national schools (SJKT) will be closed under the administration of the MADANI Government.
Deputy Education Minister Wong Kah Woh said this stance reflected the government’s commitment to ensuring that all schools continue to be maintained as part of the national education system.
He said the government understands the concerns often voiced by the public, especially the Chinese and Indian communities, regarding the future of vernacular schools, including the issue of student shortages and challenges related to school locations.
“Education Minister Fadhlina Sidek has repeatedly, both in the DPR and outside the DPR, emphasized that language schools are an important part of our education system.
“The MADANI Government’s commitment is to guarantee that no schools, whether SJKC or SJKT, will be closed. We will maintain all existing schools,” he said at the SJKT Rajaji New Building Approval Ceremony, here today, which was also attended by the Chairman of the Penang Tamil Schools Special Committee, Datuk Seri S Sundarajoo.
Wong said that previously there were various concerns about the possibility of closing or merging certain schools, in addition to the position of vernacular schools which was often questioned by certain parties.
Therefore, he said, it is hoped that the government’s guarantee will give confidence to the School Management Board (LPS), educators and the local community to continue to focus on developing their respective schools.
He emphasized that the Ministry of Environment will continue to pay attention to the development of all schools in the country in line with the government’s aspirations to ensure access to quality education can be enjoyed by every student regardless of background.
Meanwhile, he said the increase in maintenance allocation from RM20 million to RM50 million for SJKT announced by Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim in January was part of efforts to strengthen education infrastructure across the country, in addition to ensuring basic school facilities are safe, conducive and suitable for the teaching and learning process.
Apart from that, he said, this also reflects the MADANI Government’s concern for the current needs of vernacular schools, especially those facing problems maintaining buildings and basic facilities, whose distribution is carried out in a more organized manner based on the actual needs of each school.
In a related development, Wong said as many as 22 SJKT with government-assisted school status in Penang would receive funds amounting to RM1.156 million for the purchase and replacement of furniture through the allocation of the Malaysian Indian Community Transformation Unit (MITRA) under the Ministry of Human Resources (KESUMA).
He said that the implementation of providing the furniture would be carried out within one to two months after the process of matching school needs was completed involving the school administration in the state.
PakarPBN
A Private Blog Network (PBN) is a collection of websites that are controlled by a single individual or organization and used primarily to build backlinks to a “money site” in order to influence its ranking in search engines such as Google. The core idea behind a PBN is based on the importance of backlinks in Google’s ranking algorithm. Since Google views backlinks as signals of authority and trust, some website owners attempt to artificially create these signals through a controlled network of sites.
In a typical PBN setup, the owner acquires expired or aged domains that already have existing authority, backlinks, and history. These domains are rebuilt with new content and hosted separately, often using different IP addresses, hosting providers, themes, and ownership details to make them appear unrelated. Within the content published on these sites, links are strategically placed that point to the main website the owner wants to rank higher. By doing this, the owner attempts to pass link equity (also known as “link juice”) from the PBN sites to the target website.
The purpose of a PBN is to give the impression that the target website is naturally earning links from multiple independent sources. If done effectively, this can temporarily improve keyword rankings, increase organic visibility, and drive more traffic from search results.
