2026 World Cup: Ismael Koné Club Will Receive RM2.63 Million Compensation
FIFA is expected to pay nearly £480,000 (approximately RM2.63 million) in compensation following a serious injury suffered by Canadian midfielder Ismael Koné while playing on the international stage.
The 24-year-old suffered a broken left leg after being tripped by Qatar’s Assim Madibo in Canada’s 6-0 win on Thursday.
The incident earned Madibo a straight red card before appearing to apologize for the unintentional tackle.
Koné then underwent surgery to treat the injury, which was confirmed to be successful.
The Canadian Football Association said in a statement that surgery to repair a fracture in the player’s left leg went well and Koné will begin a rehabilitation program in the near future.
Sassuolo received compensation
However, the injury cost Canada more than just Koné’s services for the remainder of the tournament. In fact, it also had an impact on his club in Italy, Sassuolo.
However, Sassuolo is expected to receive compensation through FIFA’s Club Protection Program.
It was created to compensate clubs when players suffer injuries while on duty with the national team.
Under the scheme, players must be certified incapacitated for more than 28 days to be eligible for club compensation.
Based on Koné’s estimated recovery period of around 150 days, FIFA is expected to pay almost £480,000 to Sassuolo.
However, the actual amount of compensation depends on the player’s recovery period before being allowed to return to action.
PakarPBN
A Private Blog Network (PBN) is a collection of websites that are controlled by a single individual or organization and used primarily to build backlinks to a “money site” in order to influence its ranking in search engines such as Google. The core idea behind a PBN is based on the importance of backlinks in Google’s ranking algorithm. Since Google views backlinks as signals of authority and trust, some website owners attempt to artificially create these signals through a controlled network of sites.
In a typical PBN setup, the owner acquires expired or aged domains that already have existing authority, backlinks, and history. These domains are rebuilt with new content and hosted separately, often using different IP addresses, hosting providers, themes, and ownership details to make them appear unrelated. Within the content published on these sites, links are strategically placed that point to the main website the owner wants to rank higher. By doing this, the owner attempts to pass link equity (also known as “link juice”) from the PBN sites to the target website.
The purpose of a PBN is to give the impression that the target website is naturally earning links from multiple independent sources. If done effectively, this can temporarily improve keyword rankings, increase organic visibility, and drive more traffic from search results.
