Individuals who do not want to follow the principles of Rukun Negara do not deserve to be called citizens – Agong
KUALA LUMPUR, June 1 (Bernama) — Yang di-Pertuan Agong Sultan Ibrahim today said that anyone who does not want to follow the principles of Rukun Negara does not deserve to be called a Malaysian citizen.
His Majesty said the Rukun Negara, which was introduced on 31 August 1970, was an effort and promise of every Malaysian to rebuild racial unity and ensure societal harmony.
Therefore, I invite all parties to appreciate every principle of Rukun Negara and make it a practice and guide for life as Malaysian citizens.
“Therefore, if there is a Malaysian citizen who does not want to follow the principles of Rukun Negara, I suggest that he does not deserve to hold the title of Malaysian citizen,” said Sultan Ibrahim.
His Majesty was speaking at the Presentation and Conferment Ceremony of the 2026 Federal Titles, Stars and Medals in conjunction with the Yang di-Pertuan Agong’s Official Birthday at the Istana Negara today.
Also departing was Raja Ratu Agong Raja Zarith Sofiah.
Also present were Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim and his wife Datuk Seri Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail, Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi and Cabinet members including Communications Minister Datuk Fahmi Fadzil as well as foreign representatives.
The Yang di-Pertuan Agong said every citizen must be united, tolerant and respectful of each other and adhere to the principles of Rukun Negara.
His Majesty’s decree that unity is the foundation of national strength that guarantees economic progress, racial harmony and national stability.
Regarding this, Sultan Ibrahim said that all parties need to learn from the country’s black history, the race riots of 13 May 1969 which occurred when several parties acted excessively, insulted other parties, and lost respect for the nation and the supremacy of this country.
This event (May 13) has destroyed the unity of the Ummah and destroyed the stability of the country. Don’t let bananas bear fruit twice, said Sultan Ibrahim.
This awarding ceremony is the third time that Sultan Ibrahim has conducted it since His Majesty was installed as Yang di-Pertuan Agong on July 20 2024.
In total, a total of 161 people received Federal Titles, Stars and Medals in conjunction with the Yang di-Pertuan Agong’s Official Birthday this year.
PakarPBN
A Private Blog Network (PBN) is a collection of websites that are controlled by a single individual or organization and used primarily to build backlinks to a “money site” in order to influence its ranking in search engines such as Google. The core idea behind a PBN is based on the importance of backlinks in Google’s ranking algorithm. Since Google views backlinks as signals of authority and trust, some website owners attempt to artificially create these signals through a controlled network of sites.
In a typical PBN setup, the owner acquires expired or aged domains that already have existing authority, backlinks, and history. These domains are rebuilt with new content and hosted separately, often using different IP addresses, hosting providers, themes, and ownership details to make them appear unrelated. Within the content published on these sites, links are strategically placed that point to the main website the owner wants to rank higher. By doing this, the owner attempts to pass link equity (also known as “link juice”) from the PBN sites to the target website.
The purpose of a PBN is to give the impression that the target website is naturally earning links from multiple independent sources. If done effectively, this can temporarily improve keyword rankings, increase organic visibility, and drive more traffic from search results.
