Tabung Haji Wins Two Prestigious Recognitions in Real Estate Management
KUALA LUMPUR, 23 JULY 2026: Institut Tabung Haji (TH) received two prestigious awards for its iconic properties, Menara TH Tun Razak and Menara Bank Islam, reflecting its ongoing commitment to asset management and sustainability practices.
This award coincides with The Edge Malaysia Best Managed & Sustainable Property Awards (BMSPA) 2026 recognizing TH’s ongoing efforts in managing and empowering real estate assets in a professional, innovative and sustainable manner, in line with best governance and commitment to long-term value.
Menara TH Tun Razak was named the winner in the Non-Strata Office Building category, while Menara Bank Islam won the Sole-Owned Office award in the Mixed Strata Development category.
TH Chairman, Tan Sri Abdul Rashid Hussain said this success proves TH’s commitment to managing assets professionally, with integrity and sustainability, thereby ensuring that the assets entrusted to them continue to generate value for more than 9.8 million depositors.
“These two awards not only recognize excellence in building management, but also reflect TH’s commitment to meeting the best standards in everything it does. As an institution that manages the trust of Muslims, every asset needs to be preserved so that it can continue to provide benefits for savers, society and the country in the long term,” he explained.
He said this success also proves TH’s ability as an institution that has received much recognition, in combining mature asset management with modern technology, digitalization and sustainability practices that are in line with the best industry standards.
TH Tun Razak Tower, which was designed by renowned architect Hijjas Kasturi and has been a Kuala Lumpur landmark since 1985, continues to be strengthened through various improvement initiatives. This includes upgrading building facilities, a cashless parking system based on vehicle registration number recognition, improving security and access, as well as planning the installation of a solar system as part of the Five Year Asset Management Plan.
Menara Bank Islam continues to demonstrate excellence in facilities management through proactive maintenance, condition-based monitoring, and the use of the i-MANS computerized maintenance management system, which increases operational efficiency, accelerates response times, and optimizes asset management. These two buildings are managed by TH Properties Sdn Bhd which is a wholly owned subsidiary of TH.
The applied approach succeeded in ensuring the reliability of critical building systems such as domestic water supply, elevators, and fire prevention systems, while contributing to a 6.6 percent reduction in energy consumption compared to coordinated energy baselines through the implementation of building automation systems, optimization of the operation of air conditioning systems, and the use of energy-saving lighting.
Tan Sri Abdul Rashid said this recognition strengthens TH’s commitment to continue to improve asset management based on Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) principles. TH will continue to leverage technology and innovation to ensure strategic assets remain competitive and create sustainable value for depositors.
He also expressed his appreciation to all TH Group employees for their dedication and commitment in ensuring TH assets are managed according to the highest standards to achieve recognition at the industry level.

A Private Blog Network (PBN) is a collection of websites that are controlled by a single individual or organization and used primarily to build backlinks to a “money site” in order to influence its ranking in search engines such as Google. The core idea behind a PBN is based on the importance of backlinks in Google’s ranking algorithm. Since Google views backlinks as signals of authority and trust, some website owners attempt to artificially create these signals through a controlled network of sites.
In a typical PBN setup, the owner acquires expired or aged domains that already have existing authority, backlinks, and history. These domains are rebuilt with new content and hosted separately, often using different IP addresses, hosting providers, themes, and ownership details to make them appear unrelated. Within the content published on these sites, links are strategically placed that point to the main website the owner wants to rank higher. By doing this, the owner attempts to pass link equity (also known as “link juice”) from the PBN sites to the target website.
The purpose of a PBN is to give the impression that the target website is naturally earning links from multiple independent sources. If done effectively, this can temporarily improve keyword rankings, increase organic visibility, and drive more traffic from search results.
