Two Died, One Seriously Falls from Skylift in Subang Jaya
KUALA LUMPUR, March 17 (Bernama) — Two men died and another person was seriously injured after falling from a skylift machine while carrying out maintenance work at an apartment in Subang Jaya, Selangor yesterday.
Subang Jaya Police Chief ACP Wan Azlan Wan Mamat said that his party learned about the incident from the community at around 15.50 and the USJ 8 Police team found all the victims lying at the apartment entrance.
“Two of them were confirmed dead at the scene due to serious injuries to the head and limbs, while another person suffered injuries to the head and chest and was rushed to Sultan Idris Shah Serdang Hospital,” he said in a statement today.
He said that initial investigations found that the three foreigners aged 38 to 46 years were carrying out maintenance work on the fifth floor of the building using a skylift machine during heavy rain.
Wan Azlan said that so far the inspection at the location had not found any criminal elements and the case was classified as a Sudden Death Report.
He said the victim’s body was sent to the Forensics Section of Sultan Idris Shah Hospital for an autopsy.
