Malaysian Futsal Cup is riots, Sabah’s head coach beaten by team officials

The third match of the Malaysian Futsal Cup involving the Sabah and Johor Darul Ta’zim (JDT) team today was tainted by a clash involving the head coach of Sabah Roger Filipe with its officers.

Citing the Astro Stadium report, Roger was beaten by the officer himself after the match that made Sabah lose to JDT 3-4.

The team initially dominated the game with a 3-1 decision, but they had to obey after JDT’s goal was successful. When the final whistle sounded, Roger reportedly entered court and acted aggressively.

Everything became tense when he tried to calm down by one of his team officials, but he acted to get officers.

Furthermore, Roger was crushed by officers to lie down in court.

Further information about Roger’s condition is unknown and there is no statement issued by the Sabah Team so far.
