Kinabatangan –– Malaysian Royal Police (GRDP) received an application for a peaceful general meeting from the late Solidarity Zara Qairina Mahathir.
Kinabatangan District Police Chief Ravi Duraisamy said the general meeting would be held tonight from 8 pm to 22:00 in front of the DIY DIY DIY DIY DIY building.
“Therefore, notifications based on section 12 (1) of the 2012 ACT Peaceful Assembly (ACT 736) from the announcement to people with interest have been issued.
“Limitation and provisions of the assembly to determine safety, public order, protection of public rights and freedom based on section 15 (1) have also been explained to the organizers.
“The organizer and participant must comply with all instructions given by the police at any time to determine the atmosphere of the assembly and security of all participants.
“All that is not permitted to carry weapons or items that can cause damage or can be used to cause fear or cause injury to a person or public property,” he said in a statement today.
He advised the public, especially parents not to bring minors to avoid unwanted things.
