Perodua Will Launch Its First EV At The End Of This Month
RAWANG, 11 Nov (Bernama) — Perusahaan Otomobil Bawah Sdn Bhd (Perodua) will launch its first electric vehicle (EV) that meets national requirements by the end of this month, said Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim.
Anwar, who is also Minister of Finance, said that the launch of the fully Malaysian-made Perodua EV would be made into the National Agenda.
“The EV vehicle that will be launched is affordable, meets national needs and can drive the (national) economy,” he said when giving a speech during a friendly visit by Perodua employees in Jakarta, today.
