Turkiye viral shooter Joseph once again stole the Gold Medal spotlight at the Air Weapons 2025 Europa League, held in Istanbul last weekend.
Playing in front of thousands of home fans, Joseph and teammate Mustafa Inan beat the German team in the final stages to give their country the gold medal.
“Representing the country in front of its own fans, with the tournament for the first time in Istanbul, is a great honor.
“It’s very sweet when we can win gold here,” he told Türkiye today after the competition.
‘John Wick’ Turkiye
Previously, shooter Turkiye created a sensation at the 2024 Paris Olympics, when he won a silver medal in the 10-meter-long team pistol with şevval İlayda Tarhan.
Apart from that, his shooting style while looking has also caught the attention of many people.
The victory not only made history as Türkiye’s first Olympic medal at the Games, but also made the country’s oldest athlete win an Olympic medal
Joseph is scheduled to return to the ISSF World Championships (rifle/pistol) which will take place in Cairo, Egypt this November.
