PLUS Expect 2.2 Million Vehicles a Day in conjunction with the End of Year Holidays
KUALA LUMPUR, Dec 17 (Bernama) — PLUS Malaysia Berhad (PLUS) estimates that traffic flow will increase to 2.2 million vehicles per day on the highway on the peak days of December 19, 20, 22, 23, 24, 26 and 27 in conjunction with the year-end school holidays and Christmas celebrations.
PLUS in its statement today informed that these hopes include the activation of Smart Lanes on 2 Jan 2026 in 30 traffic hotspots to help traffic flow on the roads in conjunction with the holiday and festival season.
Therefore, PLUS urges the public to plan their trips in advance and use the MyPLUS-TTA digital itinerary in the PLUS application to ensure smooth running on the roads during this period.
“With the latest enhancements, MyPLUS-TTA digital itineraries can be accessed not only during the festive season, but also on certain busy days,” the statement said.
