MACC Confiscates 23 Luxury Watches Worth RM2.2 Million From Former PTD’s Second Wife’s House
PUTRAJAYA, Jan 10 (Bernama) — The Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) seized luxury assets worth more than RM2.2 million following a search at a residence on the East Coast believed to belong to the second wife of a former top Army officer (PTD).
According to sources, a search carried out this morning also found two suitcases which were allegedly used to store luxury goods.
The results of the inspection found 23 units of Rolex brand watches of various models with an estimated current market value of around RM2 million.
“The MACC also seized some jewelery belonging to someone believed to be an accomplice estimated to be worth around RM225,000,” according to the source.
MACC Investigation Division Senior Director Datuk Zainul Darus when contacted confirmed this.

Previously, the media reported that the former PTD who was being investigated in the TNI Army procurement tender corruption case was detained for seven days starting January 8, to assist in the investigation of the case.
Apart from that, one of his wives, who was also detained by MACC, was detained for six days, while the other wife was detained for three days.
Yesterday, MACC was also reported to have seized gold, a high-performance sports vehicle (SVR) and cash in various foreign currencies estimated to be worth RM6.9 million following an investigation into an Army procurement tender project.
Last December 23, MACC officials attended the Ministry of Defense and focused on projects implemented through open tenders and procurement under the Army Responsibility Center.
