Lifebuoy’s hand hygiene initiative reaches 1 million students

Lifebuoy, in collaboration with the Ministry of Education (MOE), the Malaysian Ministry of Health (MOH) and the Malaysian Guardian, today announced the success of 1 million students through this program “C for washing hands”.

This achievement strengthens Lifebuoy’s main mission to prevent the spread of disease and save life by making hand cleanliness as a daily practice.

Program “C for washing hands” This is intended to foster the habit of washing hands as a basis for learning early childhood, so this is a simple daily practice for a lifetime.

For more than a decade, Lifebuoy has fought for hand cleanliness to prevent diseases such as HFMD and Influenza.

“Train-the-Trainters” program Organized Lifebuoy provides an interactive module to educators to provide fun hand washing learning, other than MThe practice environment washing hands in the classroom routinely through the 5 -day curriculum and teaching materials.

Lifebuoy Hand Cleansing Products, posters and education books are distributed to more than 7,000 classrooms in 130 schools throughout the country.

With the support and recognition of Moe and Moh, Lifebuoy will continue to expand the reach to more communities and schools to build healthy habits that can save lives.

Good cleanliness starts from childhood and lasts a lifelong. Lifebuoy helped create healthy habits from the start, starting with preschool.

Peace of the mother and teacher begins with a clean hand. Every washing is a sign of love and attention that helps protect children at school where germs easily spread and reduce the frequency of disease.

Lifebuoy has reached 1 million students through hand hygiene education programs, creating healthier habits, helping to prevent disease and save lives.

These results reflect the purpose of Lifebuoy in giving a positive impact on the community and improving the daily lives of the family, teachers, and students.

In connection with this achievement, Lifebuoy with Guardian also holds coloring competitions in 130 preschool around Kuala Lumpur, offering prizes such as smart TVs, chairs and children’s chairs, and school equipment.
