Iran is ready to negotiate with the US based on the International Framework – Pezieshkian
Istanbul, June 25 (named) – Iranian President Masoud Pezishkian stated his country’s willingness to resolve disagreements with the United States (US) based on a fair framework and in accordance with international law, reporting Anadolu Ajansi (AA).
According to Iran’s television broadcast, the attitude was stated in a separate telephone conversation on Tuesday with Saudi Prince Mohammed bin Salman, United Arab Emirates (UAE) President Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and Pakistan Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.
“We hope that negotiations between Iran and the US can begin in the near future and produce positive results,” Pezishkian said in a conversation with the Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia.
He stressed that Iran wanted to reach a fair and fair agreement based on an international legal agreement that defended the rights of the Iranian people and contributed to regional stability and development.
“We do not demand anything outside of our legal rights, and welcome the support of friendship and you in solving this problem,” he said.
In the conversation, Prince Mohammed bin Salman said that Saudi Arabia had previously criticized Israel’s actions against Iran and did not allow airspace to be used for the operation.
“We, or other countries in this region do not open airspace for Iran’s actions and we will not do it.
“There is no operation in Iran that will be launched from US bases in our country. We also understand your obligation to respond to US attacks,” said the Crown Putra.
Meanwhile, in his conversation with UAE President Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed, Pezishkian said the region could be developed “together without foreign interventions, in a state of cooperation, stability, and peace.”
The leader of the UAE reportedly repeated the consistent attitude of his country that supported the initiative to regional peace and security, emphasizing the importance of ensuring that the agreement signed the benefits of all countries and people in the region.
In a conversation with Sharif, Pezishkian stressed that “Enemy’s conspiracy will not be able to affect friendship between Iran and Pakistan.”
Tensions increased after Israel launched air strikes in several locations in Iran from June 13, including military and nuclear facilities, claiming Tehran almost produced nuclear-money weapons that Iran was highly rejected.
Iran then responded by launching missile and drone attacks, thus triggering US interventions that were contrary to three Iranian nuclear facilities on Sunday.
After 12 days of conflict between Israel and Iran, US President Donald Trump announced a ceasefire on Monday night, urged all parties to obey it.
