Chinese Prime Minister Li Qiang arrived in Malaysia for the ASEAN-GCC-China Summit
Sepang, May 26 (named)-Minister Li Qiang arrived here today to attend the ASEAN Cooperative from the Bay Cooperation Council (GCC) which was held for the first time in Kuala Lumpur.
A special aircraft carrying Li and his delegation landed in the flower complex at Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) at 12:20.
The arrival of Li and his entourage was welcomed by the Minister of Transportation Anthony Loke and the Chinese Ambassador to Malaysia Yujing Malaysia.
After arriving, Li examined the control of honor by 28 officers and members of the first Battalion of the Royal Malay Regiment (ceremony) led by Captain Muhammad Firdaus Mat Hayin.
The 46th ASEAN Summit and related meetings took place at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Center today and tomorrow, as well as the 2nd ASEAN-GCC Summit and the first ASEAN-GCC-China Summit.
The ASEAN Summit unites leaders from member countries to discuss regional developments and to determine the future direction of regional groups.
This year marks the fifth time Malaysia holds the position of the ASEAN chairman throughout its history as a member of the Regional Block, after leading it in 1977, 1997, 2005 and 2015.
