About 27 died of Tornado, a storm in the US
At least 27 died after several tornados and strong storms hit the Central United States (US) since Friday, causing major damage in the states of Missouri, Kentucky and Virginia.
Mayor of St. Louis, the Spencer method described the disaster as one of the worst in the history of the city, The New York Times reported.
Kentucky records the highest number of deaths
According to The New York Times, Kentucky became the worst affected country with at least 18 people dead.
Governor Andy Beshear voiced fears that the number of victims increased when the rescue team continued his search.
“There is a residential area where the entire house line is missing. I am worried that there is an area where all residents will be killed,” he said.
Laulel District Kentucky recorded 17 deaths, and other deaths occurred in the Pulaski District. Meanwhile, ten other victims were reportedly critical.
It can be understood that the victims aged between 25 and 76 years, with most of them more than 60.
London’s small town, located in the Mountains of Appalachia, is also hit by a big destruction.
At the London-Corbin airport, the plane hangar was completely destroyed, with a plane found upside down.
According to Matthew Singer Airport Manager, no staff were injured, but some buildings were badly damaged.
Meanwhile, in Virginia, two people were killed after the tree collapsed.
The number of tornado detected increased
According to the National Kajicuaca Department (NWS), 26 Tornado was confirmed on the day of the incident, most of them in Indiana and Kentucky.
Although this figure is not as high as 107 Tornado in one day on April 2, countries such as Missouri and Kentucky have not fully recovered from the previous disaster this year.
In Missouri, seven people were killed, including five in St. Louis, while two are in the Scott District. An estimated 5,000 buildings were damaged by the storm.
New Storm Commemoration
The Kajicuaca Department also warned that new storms were expected to hit from Sunday to Monday in southern Great Plains, including Oklahoma and North Texas.
This incident is likely to bring large -scale rainfall and strong winds in some areas such as Dallas and Fort Worth.
