Bank Rakyat Offers Moratorium of Up to Six Months to Flood Victims Nationwide
KUALA LUMPUR, 27 NOVEMBER 2025 – Bank Rakyat offers assistance in deferring financial installment payments for up to six months to individual and business customers affected by the recent flood disaster in Indonesia.
Chief Executive Officer of Bank Rakyat Group, Ahmad Shahril Mohd Shariff, in his statement said, this moratorium facility aims to reduce the financial burden and commitments borne by customers in this challenging time.
“The moratorium facilities offered include Individual Financing-i, Housing Financing-i, Vehicle Financing-i, Vehicle Rental-i, Education Financing-i, Micro Financing-i, Home Ownership Tax-i and Credit Card products-i.
Affected customers can submit an application via email jasabanjir@bankrakyat.com.my by including their full name, identity card number, affected address, mobile phone number that can be contacted, type of financing as well as a copy of the utility bill confirming the customer’s address.
Meanwhile, Credit Card-i customers can send requests to kkredit@bankrakyat.com.my. Business customers can also continue to visit their nearest Business Banking Center (BBC) for assistance.
