100 Percent Palm Based, Biodiesel B100 Appears as a New Alternative to Diesel

The energy supply crisis resulting from the war between Iran, the United States and Israel has raised concerns among the world community.

This also opens the eyes of many countries to explore new energy sources to meet future needs.

Malaysia is no exception, the Federal Land Development Authority (FELDA) recently introduced B100, namely biodiesel which is 100 percent made from palm oil.

FELDA chairman Datuk Seri Ahmad Shabery Cheek described biodiesel as the country’s strength in facing global geopolitical uncertainty, especially involving strategic routes such as the Strait of Hormuz which increases the risk of disruption to petroleum supplies and increases in international diesel prices.

He said, through the role of subsidiary FGV Holdings Berhad, Malaysia was able to develop a stronger domestic energy value chain by fully utilizing local palm oil resources.

“I have conveyed this matter (implementation of B100) to the Deputy Prime Minister, Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi and the Prime Minister, Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim.

“Right now, we need a (clear) government policy because if it is implemented immediately, the (crude palm oil) supply may not be sufficient,” he said as reported by Bernama.

Competitive alternative Biodiesel B100

B100 biodiesel production is estimated to have a price below RM5 per liter and has the potential to be a competitive alternative to conventional diesel, thereby supporting efforts to stabilize domestic fuel prices and strengthening the country’s energy security.

For your information, a pilot project for the use of B100 has been carried out involving testing of passenger vehicles and tankers for four months in 2024.

This initiative not only focuses on reducing carbon emissions, but is a strategic step in exploring sustainable domestic energy sources.

“FELDA is expected to start using B100 as a first step to prove the capabilities of this fuel, in addition to strengthening FGV Holdings Berhad’s position as a leader in the country’s biofuel industry,” said FELDA via a statement on Facebook.

PakarPBN

A Private Blog Network (PBN) is a collection of websites that are controlled by a single individual or organization and used primarily to build backlinks to a “money site” in order to influence its ranking in search engines such as Google. The core idea behind a PBN is based on the importance of backlinks in Google’s ranking algorithm. Since Google views backlinks as signals of authority and trust, some website owners attempt to artificially create these signals through a controlled network of sites.

In a typical PBN setup, the owner acquires expired or aged domains that already have existing authority, backlinks, and history. These domains are rebuilt with new content and hosted separately, often using different IP addresses, hosting providers, themes, and ownership details to make them appear unrelated. Within the content published on these sites, links are strategically placed that point to the main website the owner wants to rank higher. By doing this, the owner attempts to pass link equity (also known as “link juice”) from the PBN sites to the target website.

The purpose of a PBN is to give the impression that the target website is naturally earning links from multiple independent sources. If done effectively, this can temporarily improve keyword rankings, increase organic visibility, and drive more traffic from search results.
