Iranian parliament passes the closing steps of the Hormuz Strait after the US attack on the nuclear site

Istanbul (named-Anadolu)-Iranian Parliament has passed a step to close the Hormuz Strait into the Navy Traffic Line after a US attack on three nuclear facilities, said a senior MPs on Sunday, Anadolu Ajansi (AA) was reported by local media.

“Parliament has concluded that the Hormuz Strait must be closed,” said Major General Esmaeil Kowsari, a member of the Parliamentary Security Commission, in a statement published by the Government’s TV press.

The Hormuz Strait is considered the most important entrance to the world for transporting oil.

“The final decision on this issue lies in the country’s highest security council,” said Kowsari.

The National High Security Council is the highest security authority in Iran.

US President Donald Trump on Sunday said his troops had bombed three Iranian nuclear sites in Fordow, Natanz and Isfahan.

The attack has become a new improvement in the Israeli military attack supported by the US in Iran since June 13, which has made Tehran launched a counterattack on Israel.
