Four States, Two Federal Territories Predict Rain Through Tonight
The Malaysian Meteorological Department (MetMalaysia) has issued a thunderstorm, heavy rain and strong wind warning for four states and two Federal Territories (WP) until 7pm tonight.
Based on this information, several districts in the state such as Selangor, Negeri Sembilan, Sarawak, Sabah are predicted to receive rain.
Meanwhile, the entire WP Putrajaya and WP Kuala Lumpur areas are also predicted to receive rain.
“D SelangorThe areas where rain is predicted are Sabak Bernam, Kuala Selangor, Gombak, Petaling, Hulu Langat and Sepang.
“Meanwhile at Negeri Sembilan also involving Seremban and Rembau.
“Switch to Sarawakforecast areas are Sarikei (Pakan, Julau and Meradong), Sibu, Kapit (Song), Bintulu, Miri (Beluru and Telang Usan) and Limbang (Lawas).
“From Sabah as well as in inland areas, the West Coast, and Kudat (Kota Marudu),” the statement said.
Therefore, residents in the area are advised to be aware of these sudden weather changes and ensure the safety of themselves and their families.
The public is also advised to avoid outdoor activities and always follow weather warnings from METMalaysia through official channels.
Preventive measures need to be taken to reduce the risk of undesirable events occurring due to bad weather which is predicted to hit the area.
