Excavation of Corruption License: Two Assemblymen, a businessman will be charged with today
Kota Kinabalu, 30 June (named) – Two Sabah State Assembly and a businessman will be charged in today’s court of the corruption scandal on the mineral mining license in the state.
Everything will be collected based on section 16 (b) (a) from the 2009 Malaysian Anti -Corruption Commission (MACC) law, which provides corruption and part 16 (a) (a) from Macc Act 2009 for receiving corruption.
On June 18, MACC President Commissioner Tan Sri Azam Baki confirmed the arrest of a member of the assembly and a businessman for allegedly asking and accepting bribes around RM200,000 involving the problem of issuing a search license in Sabah.
According to sources, the 60s assembly and 30s entrepreneurs are believed to have taken action in 2023 and 2024.
On June 23, Azam also confirmed the arrest of other assembly members for allegedly requesting and receiving bribes around RM150,000 in the same scandal.
The source informed that the 40 -year -old Assembly, who was also an assistant assistant to the state government, was believed to have taken this action in 2023 and 2024.
The businessman was released with a guarantee of RM100,000 with two guarantees after giving a testimony while the two assemblies were also released after information was taken, each with a guarantee of RM50,000 along with one guarantor.
